Junk Munkiez Vision

By now, many Eugene and Springfield, Oregon residents are beginning to understand who we are and what we do. We've been hauling customers' junk to donation, recycling, and to the Lane county dump facilities since June of 2016. We started out very small. We only had one old 1998 Penske moving box van. That had been bought and used by other companies and eventually to a private owner. We bought it from a lady that lived in a tiny town just a few miles North East of Lincoln City called Otis, Oregon. We found her listing on Craigslist and payed her $2,100 to take it off her hands. It wasn't in the best of shape, it had over 297,000 miles, and had some repairs it needed before it was street legal. After spending about $800 to get it up to par we were excited to get to work! Only problem, no one knew who we were! With no experience in business management, marketing, and everything else in between we struggled to find work in the beginning.

Fast forward to 2019 and the Junk Munkiez have 2 dump trucks, a shop, and average more than a job a day. Our sales jumped more than 7 1/2 times and we quickly gained a positive reputation for our junk removal services. This didn't happen by luck but rather by pure will power and having a clear vision!

We didn't want Junk Munkiez to be just another typical local hauling service. You know, sketchy looking dudes showing up late in a beat up old truck wearing raggedy clothes smoking a cigarette. No, we wanted to provide Lane county with top notch professional hauling service. Logo'd trucks with Crew members who show up on time, wearing a tucked uniform with a smile on their face ready to work! Our dream was to become Eugene's most reliable service in town and grow from there. Apparently, Eugene had a junk hauling service called Junk Be Gone which provided decent service. They had disappeared well before we even started but after a year or so of proving our grit, customers quickly began thinking we use to be called Junk Be Gone and that we simply changed our business name which we find amusing.

Our goal over the next few years is to perfect everything we're doing right, systemize it, and slowly begin stretching our services out to other fellow Oregonian cities! We feel we're well on our way too.

You may be reading this and wonder what we consider junk. We're often asked if we can take garbage or if it's only resell-able goods. The answer is yes! In fact, the only thing we don't take is hazardous materials and debris that requires machinery to remove it. So relax and feel assured that the next you got a lot of junk you need to have disappear quick, know that the Junk Munkiez are ready. We do our best to provide the customer with the date they request or as soon as possible! You don't need to put everything in a pile nor have it outside for us. Whether it's inside or out, up or down stairs, in the attic or crawl space, entangled in brush, it doesn't matter, we'll remove it and haul it away for you! You may also feel good to know that we don't go straight to the dump with your old belongings. If its still usable we donate it, if it's not in the best of shape anymore but is a recyclable item then we recycle it. It's only after sifting through it all do we finally take it to the dump.

Here's a short list of items we can haul away for you:
Furniture
Appliances
Kitchenware
Hot Tubs
Garbage/Trash
Construction Debris
Office Supplies
Cardboard/Paper
Non Aerosol Paints(must have original labels)
Motor Oil(must be in sealable container)
Florescent Bulbs
and the list goes on!

Solutions To Problems

Junk Munkiez  provides one service, a solution to a problem!  As we live our lives we collect stuff. At one moment in time we may believe many of the items we acquire are essential for life or will finally bring us happiness. Unfortunately though, it's much like the Leprechaun's treasure at the end of every rainbow, you'll finally be rewarded that treasure or happiness if you can simply reach it... but you won't.  We buy items thinking it's making us happy when in reality it's the release of the craving for that object. Sure enough, this urge is back very soon and the seek to satisfy that craving returns. Before you know it, you have a pile of junk growing in your garage, basement, and spare bedroom.  Don't worry, you're not alone. It happens to pretty much all of us. No seriously, we see it everyday! Marketing specialists rely on this human behavior. Heck, this article is a form of advertising technically.  Enough of the depressing talk

Junk Munkiez Holiday Donations

Junk Munkiez  had a goal this last holiday season. To help those in need by bringing the community together. From the 22nd of November til the 24th of December 2018 Junk Munkiez offered free service to those in need! Normally, belongings that are no longer wanted but are still in good condition are donated to accepting donation facilities but we had an idea. What if we could gather a list of names of individuals around Springfield and Eugene, Oregon that were looking for particular goods this holiday season and see if anybody else around town was willing to donate those needed items to them. Junk Munkiez would be the middle man by picking up and delivering them for free.  We started the project by publishing and promoting a video on Facebook about our plans and if anyone was interested. Word spread quickly and people began responding. We quickly learned of individuals who are homeless and in need of things as simply as a jacket! Other's were just getting into a home and were i
